WELCOME....

In 1963 this lovely building transitioned into an impressive regional museum full of special exhibits in a most unique setting, a true step back into time, featuring late 19th and early 20th century local memorabilia. See our History section for more.

 At this time we are closed for the winter, however stay tuned to our Calendar of Events (right) for special events that the museum will be open for. 

We re-open the weekend of March 21-22, 2009 for our 32nd Annual Antique Show and Sale.

Museum Hours: Mid-March through Mid-November; Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 10am to 4pm and by Appointment ; The museum is closed for the winter .

In addition to normal operation hours, the museum is available for rent. Host your meetings, Plays, Parties and more for $125 for Non Members and $100 for Members. Please call for details.

Mission Statement:
The Sacramento Valley Museum Association is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and promoting interest in the historical development of the Sacramento Valley during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This collection strives to connect a rich multi-cultural history of the area with the community that has been built since and exists today.
